Audiovisual Study on Digital Metamorphosis

An interdisciplinary collaboration under the concept of Brigitte Fässler, William Bejedi and Niculin Barandun, exploring the fragile boundaries of the human body in a digitally saturated era. The work transforms choreography into a real-time data source, where motion tracking translates the dancer’s impulses into a „digital shadow“ that acts as both a mirror and an antagonist.

Through a cinematic dialogue between physical presence and virtual dissolution, the study questions what remains „human“ when our self-image is dictated by autonomous AI avatars and immersive soundscapes. It represents a deep intersection of technical precision and poetic transformation, developed in close collaboration with dancer Germain Zambi and musicians Feldermelder & Noémi Büchi.
