Merging visual thinking, game theory and value systems as elements of social interaction and collaborative creation practices, twistedsister.io explores the forces behind the phenomena of self-portrayal in social media relationships. Digital 3D technologies, visual media, blockchain and performance conflate into an artistic work which gravitates around the human body as a malleable avatar.

Mirroring ourselves in the digital space has opened up a vast array
of forms of representation characterised by the inherent incentive mechanisms of social networks we want to be part of. In an act of self-commodification, the continuous optimisation of our virtual self is not self-directed, instead we allow mostly anonymous peers, whether they are humans, bots or corporate algorithms to cast their expectations on us,
eventually to decide who we ought to be.
